Nadia Jewel, a well known model and actress from Greensboro, NC by way of Alabama, utilizes her talents to stand out in various areas of the arts. Nadia signifies herself as an award winning model and actress by title recognition as Best Model, Best Actress and Supporting Actress of the Year for the Featured Highlights Awards. Her debut to the runway was at the age of 13 when she modeled in fashion shows for JC Penney and Belk department stores in her hometown of Elizabeth City, NC. This 5-foot-7-inch tall model's professional career blossomed 3 years ago when she graced the runway for a prestigious designer at a benefit show in Charlotte, NC. Recently, she appeared on the catwalk for the NC Black Film Festival fashion show, African Fashion Week NC, UNCG Annual Threads Fashion Show, NC Hair & Beauty Battle and numerous shows up and down the east coast. Nadia Jewel is also a print model and a brand ambassador for a few apparel lines. The work she has presented in front of the cameras has allowed her to add "Published Model" to her list of accomplishments. She is currently featured in the beauty issue of GlowUp and Southern Style magazines.

Aside from ripping runways and posing for cameras, you can find Nadia Jewel fulfilling her other goal in life, ACTING! Her passion for acting is attributed to both lead and supporting roles in the National Black Theater Festival, a feature film, Flowers, starring celebrity actor, Clifton Powell, an extra role on the tv series, Shots Fired, starring celebrity actor, Sanaa Lathan, the nationally recognized 48 hour film project, a webseries and many indie films and stageplays. In the theatrical world, Nadia is best known for her breakout performance as Zora Neale Hurston during the Harlem Renaissance. One of her most honorable roles was as Dr. Betty Shabazz in a stage play documentary, By Any Means: Malcolm X.
To enhance her career, Nadia Jewel frequents modeling and acting classes, auditions and networking events within the industry. She has several upcoming roles and projects to be on the lookout for. Nadia wishes to thank her family, friends and mentors for their support and guidance.
